"You are perfect just as you are"
A healthy mantra you can remind yourself of every day to strengthen your inner energy.
It's important that we learn to speak kindly to ourselves. For many of us, the inner critic takes up far too much space – a harsh voice that quickly appears when we don't live up to our own or others' expectations. Whether it's about not succeeding with a project, not achieving high grades, or being treated poorly by others, this inner critic can become even more harsh and judgmental.
But research shows that we can create change. Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, have documented that just 20 seconds of daily practice with kind words to ourselves can make a difference. Participants in the study experienced increased self-compassion and lower stress levels when they regularly reminded themselves of their worth.
That’s why I created this illustration – as a daily reminder that you are good, exactly as you are.
